“A Cry for Justice”
Is the government trying to say…
“Kill the pensioners”?
Because that’s exactly what it feels like.
When a government deliberately ignores those who spent their lives building this nation...
When it snatches away their rightful pensions…
When it rewrites laws with retrospective effect…
It sends a chilling message:
You are not valued. You are not wanted.
And we ask—Is it a crime to be a Pensioner in India?
Is it wrong to grow old after serving your country with honesty and dedication?
Look around.
Senior citizens in politics get multiple pensions.
MLAs, MPs, Ministers—they enjoy the best of healthcare, travel perks, security, and more.
But a retired schoolteacher, a railway worker, a clerk, or a soldier—
They are denied even basic dignity.
Why this hypocrisy?
If children neglect their ageing parents, it’s called heartless.
So what do we call a government that does the same?
Let us remind you—
Pensioners are not weak.
They are the experience bearers, the knowledge keepers, and once again—they are voters.
And if they unite—they can swing any election.
But instead of honouring them, this government...
amends pension rules retroactively to 1972,
invalidates Supreme Court judgments,
and then calls the Old Pension Scheme a "non-contributory benefit".
We ask—where is the employer’s matching PF contribution?
Why does the Supreme Court repeatedly say:
"Pension is not a charity. It is a deferred wage. A fundamental right."
Yes, pensions were earned.
The pay scales of government workers were deliberately kept low because pension was part of the promised compensation.
Now, that promise is being broken.
And here’s the irony—
The same government that spends thousands of crores on freebies to buy votes,
calls rightful pensions a burden.
They create a parasite class through doles
but treat honest, retired citizens like liabilities.
This is injustice. This is betrayal.
Bharat Pensioners Samaj now calls on all pensioners,
all senior citizens,
and all those who respect the elderly—
Raise your voice. Share this message. Speak up on social media.
Because if this government truly believes in “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”,
then it must protect the dignity of those who once carried this nation on their shoulders.
Do not forget—
You, the pensioner, are not just a statistic.
You are a citizen,
a voter,
and a builder of modern India.
And together, we say—
Enough is enough.
Justice must be done.
And it must be done now.
