Online Payment Methods for Post Office SSA, PPF, SB, and RD Accounts


 

METHOD 1

Online Payment via Any Bank App or Net Banking

This method allows payments through any banking app (like SBI, HDFC, ICICI, etc.) or net banking.

Steps to Follow:

  • Login to Your Bank App/Net Banking
  • Open your bank’s mobile app or net banking portal.
  • Add Beneficiary
  • Go to "Add Beneficiary" or "Fund Transfer" section.
  • Enter the following details:
  • Beneficiary Name: As per your Post Office account.
  • Account Number: Your Post Office account number.
  • IFSC Code: IPOS0000DOP (India Post Payments Bank IFSC).
  • Make Payment via NEFT
  • Select NEFT as the transfer mode.
  • Enter the amount in multiples of ₹100 or ₹1000.
  • Confirm and complete the transaction.

 

Method 2: 

Online Payment via India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) App

This method is exclusive for IPPB users and supports payments for RD, SSA, PPF, and SB accounts.
Steps to Follow:
  • Login to IPPB App
  • Open the IPPB (India Post Payments Bank) mobile app.
  • Navigate to Post Office Services
  • Go to "My Services" → Select "Post Office Services".
  • Select Account & Make Payment
  • Choose the type of account (RD/SSA/PPF/SB).
  • Enter the required details and payment amount.
  • Confirm and complete the transaction.

 

 

Offices with more counter transactions with subsequent deposits may take print out and display in notice board or paste near challan filling area and may ask customer to make NEFT payment from their BANK account for SB SSA and PPF Account..

 

 As the accounts are increasing day by day and servicing SSA with withdrawal and closures are increasing with SBBAS etc , we may ask customer to make NEFT from bank App...

 

Bank app can be registered in few minutes in mobile using passbook particulars by customers on their own... Example 

 

SBI : YONO LITE SBI

Indian bank : IND smart 

Axis bank : axis mobile 

KVB : KVB D LITE

BOB : Bank of baroda

 

and so On for other banks...   

 

Beneficial for both customers and for us in saving time from long term subsequent deposits... 

 

Tell customer that no need to go ATM to withdraw money...

No need to wait at counter for every month for 15 plus years month on month...

We shall keep in touch with them when they make passbook entries for promoting other schemes...
