Voluntary contribution for treatment of Sri Prashanth R, Instructor, WCTC, Mysuru

Sir / Madam,

       With respect to above subject, we  would like to bring few points with respect to Prashanth R who worked as System Admin in Mysuru Division and PTC Mysuru  medical expenditure for kind consideration please.

  • Prashanth met with an accident on 13th July 2024 while coming back from office to home
  • He was hospitalised to Cauvery hospital in Mysuru with multiple injuries like mandibular fracture, diffusion axonal injury, etc and was in very critical state.
  • After about one week he was out of life danger but still needed to be hospitalised since he was not conscious
  • After a month from accident, he was referred by the hospital to Sakra Hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment and he was still in unconscious state only
  • At Sakra Hospital, advanced treatment was given. The treatment included many therapies like Hyberbaric Oxygen therapy and Robotic therapy for 3 months.
  • After almost 4 months from the date of accident, he regained minimal consciousness but was still not stable
  • After that he was referred to Ayurvedic treatment like rehab
  • Now presently, he is hospitalised at Svathanthra hospital in Bengaluru and has regained consciousness
  • He is undergoing treatment for neuro related treatment and accupunture, Speech therapy, physiotherapy and so on
  • Now after regaining consciousness, he is able to follow small commands slowly
  • He is still unable to eat solid food, speak or anything on his own. He is healing and requires more time since his nerves are damaged.
  • The expenses incurred until now are:

1.    Cauvery hospital               – Rs.7 lakhs

2.    Sakra hospital                   - Rs. 16 lakhs

3.    Surgery mandibular          – Rs. 1.5 lakhs

4.    Svathantra rehab              - Rs. 5 lakhs (until now)

 

           Further, with all above points, in his absence his family members facing a lot of financial issues and crisis. Their Family members finding it difficult to carry out daily needs with two children to look after and with housing loan and EMIs. As his family members are in need of immediate financial support, it is requested to make voluntary contribution to following bank accounts through NEFT
