This is regarding issuance of clarification regarding continuance of postal manuals, standard operating procedures, other relevant orders issued prior to the implementation of the new Post Office Act, 2023 and its subordinate legislation
2.Telephonic references are being
received regarding the sanctity of continuation of the validity of the
various Post Office Manuals issued prior to the implementation of the
new Post Office Act, 2023 and its subordinate legislation.

In this context, it is clarified that the existing Postal Manuals and
SOPs, shall continue to be in effect until new set of Manuals, came into
force, in accordance with the section 16(2) of the Post Office Act,
2023.
4.It is requested to kindly communicate the same to all, under your jurisdiction.
5. This issues with the approval of the competent authority.
