Posting of GDS in vacant/Leave vacancies of PM/MTS

• GDS can be engaged in vacant/leave vacancies of Postman/MTS posts in a post office having a combined staff strength of (MTS/PM) more than 4 for a period not exceeding 90 days

• If the arrangement of the paid substitute GDS against the vacant/leave/absentee PM/MTS exceeds ninety days, the Head of the circle/region is mandatory

• When a GDS is posted against the leave vacancies of regular Postman/MTS etc, he/she would need to apply for Leave without Allowance
