Model Representation - Model for withdrawal of Union Membership declaration

 Many divisional secretaries are asking me to post a model representation for change of membership from other unions to their union. The following format may be used to withdraw the letter of authorisation earlier submitted in favour of rival unions.

Subject: Withdrawal of Authorisation for Union Membership and Request for New Subscription Deduction

Respected Sir/Madam,

          I, …………………………………………………………………………… (Name and Designation), hereby submit this request to withdraw my letter of authorisation for membership with the …………. Group C union, which was submitted in April 2024. I no longer wish to continue my membership with that union, and I kindly request that the deduction of union subscription to  from my salary ………….. may be stopped with immediate effect.

          Furthermore, I have decided to become a member of the All India Postal Employees Union – Group C. I hereby authorize the deduction of a monthly subscription of Rs. 100 from my salary, beginning in July 2024, payable on 31.07.2024, as per the applicable provisions. I authorise the payment of this subscription to the mentioned service union.
