Introduction of 'GDS Adalat' for taking up the grievances of the
Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) and their resolution communicated through DOP OM

- The Indian Department of Posts is introducing 'GDS Adalat', a grievance redressal platform for Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS).
- These Adalats, chaired by CPMG and PMG at Circle and Regional levels respectively, will be held twice yearly to address GDS grievances.
- Issues such as delayed payments, regularization delays, and condonation of absence will be addressed, but the Adalat will not function as an appellate body for previously decided cases.
- Participation is voluntary, and no TA/DA or special leave will be granted; minutes of each session will be submitted to DDG (Estt., DE & Legal).
