Introduction of GDS Adalat??

Ø GDS adalat like staff adalat will be held for addressing the grievance of GDS

Ø GDS Adalat will be at Regional & Circle level and headed by PMG & CPMG respectively

Ø Wil be  held preferably on the day of conduct of staff adalat

Ø GDS adalats will be held twice a year on half yearly basis. (First half January-June, Second half July-December)

Ø GDS may take up the grievances like non-payment or delay in payment of discharge benefits (GDS Gratuity/Severance/SDBS/GDS-GIS), non-regularization (or delay) of the put off period, non-settlement (or delay in settlement) of requests for condonation of unauthorised absence/absence beyond 180 days, delay in Rule 10 inquiry etc. The kind of grievances mentioned are illustrative and not exhaustive.

Ø The platform will not be used as an appellate body for disciplinary and other matters, where the original cases/appeals/representations have already been decided by the competent authority.
