How many no of withdrawals allowed in a Branch office in a day??

A Branch Office is authorized to allow withdrawal of amount not exceeding Rs. 20,000/- without obtaining prior sanction of its account office subject to the condition that not more than one withdrawal is allowed on any day from any account.

But this capping of one withdrawal does not applicable for opening of new account by means of SB withdrawal.

A depositor at Branch office is allowed to open any no of accounts by means of debiting from his/her SB account in a day.
