Circle Welfare Fund for GDS

The scheme was introduced on 1.07.2024

The subscription by every GDS is @Rs.40/ per month.

Annual subscription of Rs.480/ is recovered in one lumpsum in April every year. 

 
This scheme is applicable to all GDS officials.

For a newly joined GDS the subscription will be recovered on proportionate basis from 1st month TRCA

The accounts branch of a HO will recover this amount and remit the same to the Treasurer Managing Committee.

The Accounts Branch will maintain the register of GDS for ensuring CWF every year in the month of April.

The applications received from the GDS on the major surgeries , will be sent to RO for scrutiny.

The RO /CO will decide the merit of the case and will approve the claim of the GDS

The committee will meet once in 3 months and decide the cases received prior to the meeting.

The scheme is contributory in nature with a component grant in aid from the Circle Welfare Fund.

An amount of Rs.200 per GDS Per year will be funded from the central welfare fund to the Circle Welfare Fund. From this fund received from the central the circle will settle the claims received from the GDS officials of the respective circles.
